The Garrack Hotel

About The Garrack

Secluded and away from the noise of traffic, The Garrack Hotel stands in two acres with breathtaking views over Porthmeor beach, St.Ives, the sweep of St. Ives Bay and the Atlantic beyond. Situated between town and country, within 15 minutes' walk to the beaches and picturesque harbour to the north-east and cliffs and coastal footpath to the north-west.

In summer it is a welcome haven from the hustle and bustle of a popular tourist town and an ideal base to explore the area. In winter, it is a cosy retreat, with log fires, and a country house charm, reminiscent of the gentleman's residence that it once was. The original house with public areas & some bedrooms have retained an "Arts & Crafts" character, whereas the modern extension is being decorated to follow a "Coastal theme". The Garrack is family owned and managed by the Kilby's. It is a place of comfort and hospitality, for you to eat well, sleep soundly, leave relaxed… and hopefully, to return..
